Blackmango Herbs (“we”, “us”) runs blackmangoherbs.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and your rights. It follows India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, phone number, email, business name, shipping and billing address, and GST number (if you give one). This comes from orders, enquiry forms, calls, WhatsApp messages and newsletter sign-ups.
- Order information: the products you order, quantities, invoices and delivery details.
- Technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit. We collect this automatically to keep the site working and secure.
We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
2. How we use it
We use your information to:
- process, ship and support your orders and enquiries,
- send quotations, invoices, tracking updates and replies,
- handle dealer, distributor and PCD franchise enquiries,
- meet tax, accounting and legal requirements, and
- send product updates and offers, only if you’ve agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We don’t sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
3. Payments
Online payments are processed by Razorpay, which is certified to the PCI-DSS security standard. Your card, UPI and bank details go directly to Razorpay. We never see or store them. Razorpay’s privacy policy is at https://razorpay.com/privacy/.
4. Who we share information with
We share information only as needed to serve you:
- Courier partners: your name, address and phone number, to deliver your order.
- Payment gateway (Razorpay): to process payments.
- Service providers: website hosting, email and messaging tools.
- Government authorities: when the law requires it.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep the website working, for example remembering your session and preventing spam on forms. If we add analytics, we’ll use it only to see in aggregate how visitors use the site.
6. How long we keep it
We keep order and invoice records for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require (at least 6 years under GST rules). We keep enquiry and marketing data until you ask us to delete it, or until we no longer need it.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and limited staff access. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- see the personal information we hold about you,
- correct or update it,
- delete it, unless we must keep it by law, or
- stop sending you marketing messages.
